Teriyaki Pasta with Veggies

INGREDIENTS:

  • 200g pasta
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1/2 onion
  • 1/2 bell pepper
  • 1 small zucchini
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1/4 cup teriyaki sauce TM KIM CHI
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce TM KIM CHI
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp honey or brown sugar (optional, for extra sweetness)
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

METHOD OF PREPARATION:

  1. Boil water and cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente.
  2. Drain and set aside, reserving 1/4 cup pasta water for later.
  3. Heat 1 tbsp vegetable oil in a large pan or wok over medium-high heat.
  4. Add onions, bell peppers, and zucchini, and stir-fry for 3–4 minutes until slightly softened.
  5. Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  6. In a small bowl, mix teriyaki sauce, soy sauce, sesame oil, honey (if using), and black pepper.
  7. Pour the sauce over the vegetables and stir well.
  8. Add the cooked pasta and toss everything together. If needed, add a bit of reserved pasta water to loosen the sauce.
